Dispute Resolution
Sheridan Gold LLP advises on all aspects of dispute avoidance and resolution in the construction and engineering industry, and on PFI and PPP schemes.
Our priority is to minimise the cost, management time and disruption for its clients. Much of the firm’s work is strategic advice to prevent problems escalating into significant disputes. Where this is not possible, Sheridan Gold makes effective use of mediation and other alternative dispute resolution techniques to try to resolve disputes at a manageable cost.
If formal dispute resolution proceedings are unavoidable, Sheridan Gold has particular experience of adjudication, arbitration and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court. One of its lawyers, Jane Ryland, acts as an adjudicator, and is an accredited TeCSA and CIArb panel adjudicator.
Peter Sheridan is the author of a leading practitioner’s book, Construction and Engineering Arbitration, and is the editor of the adjudication section of the Construction Law Journal.
Sheridan Gold has been involved in some of the largest cases in the Technology and Construction Court over the course of the last five years
