Coronavirus/COVID-19 update

Our priorities

The spread of coronavirus has become a huge concern for us all.  Whilst the situation and government advice is changing daily and causing widespread challenges, our priority remains the safety and well-being of our people and our clients.  We wanted to update you on the steps we are taking to minimise the impact of restrictions on our clients and to maintain the service we provide.

Client service

We take the evolving situation in relation to Coronavirus/Covid-19 extremely seriously. We have a robust business continuity plan in place and Jonathan and Peter are in touch regularly to ensure that we are taking account of all developments and maintaining a seamless service. We are working from home and we continue to deliver our services remotely.

Our office is now closed until further notice, although the Reigate office is still accepting deliveries of documents and supplies where needed to support essential legal work.

Communication

We receive most of our communications electronically and recommend that you use email to communicate with us.  Please scan in any documentation that you need to share with us and attach it to an email.  If you believe you have sent something to us in the post and we have not responded to it, please speak to your usual contact.

Client meetings

In order to reduce the risks associated with virus transmission, we are adhering to all protocols and the ongoing advice from the government.  No client meetings will be held at our offices until further notice. Meetings can be arranged by telephone, as conference or video-conference calls.  Should you feel a physical meeting is absolutely essential for legal reasons, please call to discuss.

Travel, events and alternatives

In common with most other businesses, our policy is to stop all non-essential travel until further notice.

Visitors and deliveries to our offices

We do ask that you do not visit our office until further notice.  Any deliveries need to be pre-arranged only and will need to follow ‘no contact’ protocols.

We recognise that these unprecedented times are impacting everyone both professionally and personally. We continue to closely monitor the situation and will keep you informed of any changes to our approach by updating this page.

If you have any concerns that we can help you with, please get in touch.
